Our commitment to finding answers doesn’t end with our customers. We are constantly finding new ways to give back to our communities and the people who surround us.
D+H provides meaningful and ongoing support for over 100 non-profit organizations every year, with a focus in the areas of:
- Health and social services
- Youth education and development
- Arts and culture
We answer our commitment to help others by choosing worthy causes in each area for financial contributions and by getting actively involved in organizations – at either a corporate level or by encouraging our employees to get involved.
The United Way is one of our prime conduits for employee and company caring. Together, we have donated a significant amount of money and time to the United Way over the years because we know that this organization makes a demonstrable difference in the well-being of our communities.
Beyond the United Way and the financial support we provide to a broad range of other charities, we encourage our employees to be active in the communities in which they live – volunteering of their time and talents to make a difference. D+H encourages this support by contributing monetarily to organizations and charities that our employees have chosen to support. Corporately, D+H provides financial and mentoring support to a nearby community agency that offers settlement and employment support in a community where over half the population consists of new immigrants to Canada.
Working to find answers that address challenges is a core part of our DNA and it’s gratifying to see the difference we can make.
