At D+H, we recognize our environmental responsibilities. For instance, we are Forest Stewardship Council® certified by the Rainforest Alliance.  This certification ensures that our Canadian cheque products use paper products produced from well managed forests and responsible sources.

We also use ‘green’ energy. A number of our facilities are powered by Bullfrog electricity, which comes exclusively from wind and hydro facilities that have been certified as low impact by Environment Canada.

As a result, we were recognized as one of Canada’s Greenest Employers for 2010, in a competition organized by MediaCorp, the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers competition. Our entire organization is quite proud of this recognition, but we don’t plan on resting on our past success. As our organization continues to grow and evolve, we’ll keep working hard to find new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and increase the positive impact we have on the environment.
