Apprenticeship Program

As a participant in the Ontario Apprenticeship Training program, we have a number of positions that utilize the program’s skill-building development tools. At a deeper level, employees engage in a required amount of training over a designated period of time. At completion, employees receive certification and are eligible to apply for a taxable cash grant of up to $2,000 through the Ontario government.

Tuition Reimbursement Program

D+H offers financial support towards the cost of tuition and textbooks for approved courses. This provides employees with the opportunity to continue developing their knowledge and skills, so that they can be more effective in their current role and prepare themselves for advancement in the company.

Student Bursary Program

The children of our employees are eligible to receive annual financial support from D+H while they are pursuing a post-secondary education.

Sons and Daughters Employment Program

In an effort to provide additional support for the post-secondary endeavors of our employees’ children, D+H extends them special consideration for summer employment.

Employee Computer Purchase Program

Employees are eligible to receive a $2,000 loan for the purpose of purchasing a computer. This interest-free loan is repayable over 24 months via convenient payroll deductions.

Take Our Kids to Work Day

Each year, D+H is an active participant in Take Our Kids to Work Day. Across the organization, we host the Grade 9 children of our employees for a day of fun and learning.

Partnership Programs

D+H is able to utilize the relationships we have with our customers to provide our employees with discounted rates and prices. We currently offer our employees access to discounts from a number of automotive manufacturers, home insurance providers, computer and travel providers.

Corporate Events

We host a number of very popular events for our employees. Whether we are hosting our annual Holiday Party, Children’s Holiday Party, our site Communication Days, Company BBQ, or Summer Event, we make sure our employees know how much we appreciate them.
