A comprehensive suite of answers to the very real problem of identity theft, IDefence gives clients the tools required to avoid becoming a victim in the first place, and assists those who are victimized to restore their identity.

Many of our customers now offer free IDefence coverage to their clients as an inclusive feature with their cheques – coverage that includes some or all of:

  • Card Monitoring – clients can electronically register their credit and debit card – using web crawling technology, we will monitor the internet and provide real time alerts if these registered credit or debit cards have been compromised
  • Electronic Filing Cabinet – clients are able to download our software and use it to organize and protect important documents on their own computer
  • SecureVault™ – clients can securely store and manage their digital document files with our password-protected and encrypted online data storage service
  • Restoration – clients that become a victim of identity theft are guided through the often complicated, time consuming process of getting their affairs back in order by our team of identity restoration experts

In addition to the IDefence services and programs that are included with our cheques, D+H also offers our premium CreditDefend™ service. CreditDefend is a comprehensive credit bureau monitoring solution that helps clients proactively keep on top of activity occurring on their credit bureau. Clients who enroll in CreditDefend receive:

  • A quarterly Credit Report
  • Monthly Credit Scores
  • Alerts if there is any activity on their credit bureau

Unrecognized activity on a credit bureau is often the first sign that identity theft has occurred. By monitoring the bureau on a regular basis, customers get an early warning if something is amiss.
