Gerrard Schmid – Chief Executive Officer, Director
Gerrard joined D+H in 2007 as President of one of D+H's operating divisions and has served as the Corporation's President and Chief Operating Officer since 2009, before commencing his term as Chief Executive Officer in February 2012. Gerrard has over 15 years experience in financial services and prior to joining D+H, he served as head of the deposits and overdraft lending business of Lloyds TSB Bank in the United Kingdom and in Canada as Chief Operating Officer of CIBC’s Retail Bank. Gerrard also serves on the Board of the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation and is a member of the Toronto Cabinet of the United Way. Gerrard has a Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
Brian Kyle – Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
In July 2009, Brian joined the D+H team as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Brian has been working in finance for over twenty years and brings with him a wealth of experience from companies such as Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants, Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants, Cott Corporation, and CAE Inc. Most recently, Brian was President and CFO for Teranet Income Fund. Brian has an MBA from Queens University and an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from the University of Windsor. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
William W. Neville – President D+H USA
Bill joined the D+H executive team in October 2012 and brings with him over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining D+H to lead our U.S. operations, Bill served on the D+H Board of Directors of D+H from 2009 to October 2012, where he played an important role in the Company’s acquisition of Mortgagebot in 2011. Previous roles include Managing Director and Head of Citi’s North American Hedge Fund Servicing business, President, BISYS Alternative Investment Services and Group President, BISYS Banking
David Caldwell - Managing Director, Corporate Development
David joined D+H in April 2011 and brings over 25 years of experience in strategic planning, investment banking and corporate development. His prior roles included over a decade in a senior Corporate Development and strategic planning role with one of Canada’s large chartered banks, investment banking in financial services with a large Canadian investment dealer, and corporate development for one of Canada’s largest insurance companies. David has a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from Carleton University and an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto.
Yves Denommé - Executive Vice President, Operations
D+H welcomed Yves to our team in 2000 as Director of Technical Operations. In April 2002, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations and in 2009 became our Executive Vice President of Operations. Over the years, Yves has held key positions in manufacturing, engineering and supply chain management with organizations such as Kraft and Procter & Gamble. Yves has an MBA from the University of Toronto.
Bob Noftall – Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Corporate Affairs
Joining D+H in January of 2011, Bob brings over 25 years of experience leading Human Resources both domestically and internationally. Most recently with Cadbury Schweppes he led Regional HR for the Americas based out of the USA and previously, Regional HR for Asia Pacific based out of Melbourne and Singapore. Prior positions include consultant with Tower Perrin and generalist HR positions in the oil and gas sector. Bob has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary and a Masters Degree in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto.
Young Park, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Young joined D+H in September 2012 as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, bringing twenty seven years of experience in all aspects of Information Systems and Technology. Young joined D+H from CGI Group where she spent 22 years in a variety of leadership positions, including most recently, Sector Vice President for the Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance Vertical. Earlier in her career, Young held roles with Reserve America as VP Information Systems and Technology, Bell Sygma as GM Systems Development, and with Bell Northern Research/Nortel as a member of the scientific staff. Young holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and serves on the Boards of Markham Stouffville Hospital Corporation and the Toronto Region Immigration Employment Council (TRIEC).
Serge Rivest - Executive Vice President, Payment Products & Marketing Programs
Prior to joining D+H, Serge worked in a variety of roles in the financial services industry. He became a part of the D+H team in 1984 as the Sales Manager for Eastern Canada, working out of our Montreal office. He took on increasing responsibility over the years and was promoted to Vice President of Sales in March 2000, added Marketing responsibilities to his mandate the following year, and was promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing in 2008. Serge graduated with his BComm from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
Carrie Russell – Executive Vice-President, Chief Marketing Officer
Carrie was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at D+H in April 2013. Bringing over 22 years of experience in retail and commercial banking, Carrie has served in a number of senior leadership roles, most recently as Senior Vice President at TD Canada Trust where she led product areas that included Chequing, Deposits and Payment Products. Previously, Carrie was TD’s Senior Vice President of Personal Deposits and Payments, has also led TD Merchant Services and TD Waterhouse Institutional Services and, earlier in her career, held roles at CFDS and CIBC. Carrie is a graduate of McGill University and has served on the boards of Interac, the Canadian Payments Association, the Canadian Bankers Association and the Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People.
